Lieutenant Cortez is down there, the first time you’re asked to go speak with him, he’ll bring James into the conversation a few times. Head down to the Shuttle Bay and go to the armory. You can get access to the ability fairly early on in the game. You learn Fortification from James, no surprise really as the guy is huge. To learn an ability you need to head to the medical lab and interact with the bed there. Note, most of these require reaching relationship milestones with each of your allies, as such, it’s hard to know exactly when you’ll learn each ability as it depends on how much you’ve spoken with them and how often you take them on missions.

You can avail pre-order bonuses from Origin and GameStop but the better deal is with GameStop. But hey with EA who can argue about pre-order bonuses right?
Mass Effect 3 is one of the most highly anticipated EA Games titles coming out this year in March, while the game has had plenty of attention with trailers, screenshots and more details regarding the story and combat it is now time to address the pre-order bonuses of the game which will give players an advantage over those who don't pre-order and will eventually be available for sale to the public a few weeks after it's release.
